Another thing.. yesterday I installed the bluesoleil software in a notebook of a friend in college (he's the one who has the w810i and don't work out ) and in the menu My Bluetooth/Security/Services was enabled when back home is not. Everything is disabled here. Why ?

you can try that though cause sometimes 2 ports are better than one when the 1st its not working, try the other ..

the bluetooth control desktop works well with my K750i and media player (iTunes) with no problem at all.. probably its due to your phone IMO ...

i think there is a problem with the windows compatability on IVT BlueSoeil bluetooth dongle, i have this dongle before and my head got headaches too installing it and configuring it for my phone to work. try searching for a bluetooth dongle that is compatible to windows xp, i mean there is no security issues about the device. visit the windows site and you could find there bluetooth device that are compatible to windows. then buy that dongle, i assume there would be no more problem on connectivity about then....
just when i thought, i have found the answer in life.....
they changed the question....

I thought about that too.. and believe me that i got headaches too lol
But i installed on Windows 2000 (W2K), WinXP SP1 and WinXP SP2. None of them work out. But I'll search about compability on Microsoft's site.

Thanks

I have IVT Bluesoleil running on my PC and my Laptop SP1 and SP2 with no problems whatsoever.

I did have problems with both at first and if i remember rightly i had to pair the devices together from the phone and not from IVT Bluesoleil. When i paired them using Bluesoleil they showed as connected but i couldn't get any of the services working. And for some strange reason if i searched for devices on the phone and found the computer and then paired it all worked for me.

uh, sorry to have to bump this old thread up. just wondering what is the transfer speed between the phone and the (IVT Blue Soleil powered) computer with bluetooth. I'm looking to upgrade if possible, because my comp has USB 2.0 and I heard that the speed is really fast (hundreds of mega bytes?). is this true?
