well, after few yeras less standby is normal, but it also depends on the usage. if a batt isnt used fora longer time, it looses power, next to it, batteries must be kept fully charged if u dont use it, if its empty or almost empty and so kept, it wont give that much power after

I have the same opinion, in fact all my old phones go through a regular charge every month just for this reason

I just bought a brand new (though been in stock for 3 years I guess) . . . BST-14 (black /rubberized) for my T68i about 2 months ago . . . I made notice that the battery is performing 'worse' as the day progresses and when being - charged. My query is this . . . I always charge it in ON mode (not OFF) . . . does this have an effect compared to being charged in the OFF mode The battery lasts for about 1-1.5 days lately, with almost no calls and purely text-SMS . . . only Sometimes I'm having this feel that the battery drains faster when SMS' are being done compared when used in calls [addsig]

I think it depends on the power management of the phone...my previous K700i battery was awful- but my K750i one is awesome...

I've been charging my batteries while the phone is on all the time and I don't see any battery performance degradation so far. I think the only difference when charging while phone is ON or OFF is that the charging time is longer when it is ON.
resistance is futile.

Maybe if you try to reduce the amount of light in the display you can get more hours of MSN out of it ... most phones are still made for talking and not showing data with a fully lit display all the time....

When the battery finished, i plugged in the charger and then continued on with MSN. I noticed that the phone was being charged, but the battery meter still showed no charge, and after a while when i unplugged the charger from the phone, the port was really hot, and so was the battery.
