Hey guy, please read carefully!!! The problem of this guy is not due to flashing by himself!! He DIDN'T DO SO! Please don't always say that flashing by ericsclient is dangerous!! It's quite safe if one has learnt enough before he flash.
Please make your conclusion only when you have evidence!

Are you sure that before you do "reset GDFS", your counter is already 0? If you have non-zero counter, and do a reset GDFS, you will have a very LARGE chance to get into trouble. If so, don't blame anyone, it's just because you haven't learnt enough. |

The counter was 0. I did reset gdfs, something that my ericssclient provider ask me to do. I got the codes, but the phone didn't turn on again. Thats the whole story.Then I tryed to ressurect using its IMEI number, but nothing.The IMEI code that Ericssclient provide me was not complete. It was the same as my phone's IMEI but without the last digit. The last digit was missing!! The thing is that I don't have an idea on what I should do now. I don't know if the phone is useless or if I can fix it and how!! If you know how I can fix it please let me know.Thank u |

thats what i said, he used EricsClient and the phone broke, now whether he learned enough or not it is still dangerous, since it is not supported (do at you own risk) type of software and you never know if you know enough about it, if you have successfully flashed your phone does not mean there is no risk envolved, and with that ukranian forum you reffer to for directions on how to use it, i just don't feel safe altering my phone, because here is one example of a person actually "flushing" his phone and who know how to fix it now, it is going to be much more complicated to take care of this problem that to make it happen, that's all i am saying...

i have no idea why is it that people are being so deperate to upgrade the software, SE launches a new software almost every month n does that mean u gonna update it every month? Worst part is that trying to flash the phone n upgrade it yourself eventhough your phone still has warranty, why risk your phone n try to be service guy when u can just bring the phone to any service center to upgrade it for free? n why is it that voiding the warranty? warranty here in malaysia is not cheap, unauthorized set cost us RM900 which is equivalent to USD236 n warranty set cost RM1700, USD 447. For you malaysia out there who have flashed the software yourself using a warranty set im sorry to say that it is very stupid to do so. Same for those whose country's SE dealers are slow in updating software, it wont kill you for not having the latest software upgraded! just wait and u will get a chance. So the moral value behind all this crap is that.......if you dunno how to do, DONT DO IT! unless u are rich n is a potential service guy........otherwise bear with the consequences n stop crapping around.

im not asking ppl not to help you if i could i would help you but too abd i know nothing bout it. what i mean to say is that if it comes to technical problem like this, go to the service point n get it done, u already paid for the warranty.

You ae not the only one. I try to unlock my AT&T T68 using remote unlock. I get IMEI of 000000-00-000000 and blank NCK, SPCK... as well. The only thing different is my hone still working normal.
I will continue to try and if I find out anything, I let you know.
I the mean time, cool down. There always some people who think they are smarter than others but may be not.

if lets say I put a new software on the SAME phone, is the NCK number the same as before, or it changes depending on the software?

Flashing it yourself is necessary in the United States because there are no servicepoints as you know them and Ericsson USA won't do it either. |

Hi. I got the same problem. Thr red light flashes when I charge and that's all. Lambros could you write if you solvede this problem by upgrade? |

have some question here. i have a t68 here without any software inside. izzit possible to put software inside. coz i tried to get this phone to upgrade. it screwed and all my software gone inside as blank.
but well i still can test the phone physical part like vibrate, LED light and the rest. but there is no software there. and my IMEI turned into all 0.
please help coz i really need to fix this back. any people have any idea?
service center they can not do anything about it coz the IMEI have been reset to 0.

use www.logosunlimited.co.uk. It works. I already unlocked 2 t68i. but only use that program if u have available tries left on your phone (Read GDFS).Otherwise dont do it. (DONT use RESET GDFS) Now for uploading software on the phone, you have to have the original software of the phone and flash it.

Did you solve the problem concerning red light and not turning on red light after you pressed Reset GDFS by means of upgrading and downloading the software? I'm confused what to do in such cases. Could you reply?
