hmm....no at a good guess it may be free / very small fee for generic handset users, but if you buy the phone subsidised by a network then the more of the chance is, that you will have to pay a subscription fee to the network provider. and wait a second! gprs charges! it'll be umts charges with a k800i if your in 3g area! - and also another thing...how big is a recording of 30secs of a song or something? it must be about 200kb or something - thats gonna cost ok....0.78x200=156 so that means that (taking into fact it will be likely to be different to 200kb (probably smaller tbh i'm not good at estimates)) on vodafone UK, pay-as-you-go - the charge of sending this to them will be £1.56 - that's a rip off! just record it and then get home to send, or ask someone! or just...not bother...it's only a song so it doesn't really matter - you not gonna die from it!
