But it already has a swivel, a slider and a slim candybar as well as a slew of clams.
Whats left to do? The v3 is for people that don't know any better.

But they are walkman ones. My dad isnt going to be running around with a phone intended for youngsters. He's 55!

think its better when the buyer tests both at usage and then decides. our experiences are individual on every area, i used 6280, it was accepteable. k800 is not interesting for me, netx to the 3.2 mp cam nothing special to offer after the former models, imo.

Agreed. k700>k750>k800
The only emphasis was on the camera, and not on the phone it self. And k800 better have good built quality |

Sounds like your awaiting the next evolutionary leap in mobile phones, although you have a cam, media player, wifi etc etc... apart from streaming tv what else can you think of thats gonna take phones to the next level?
until that time, you can only improve on existing models. |

How about a symbian? And not those P and M series. Something thats easy to use like a 7610 and 6630. |

@QVGA.
The K610i is straight to the point, slim, no-nonsense, expandable mem. No Walkman, no Cybershot no gimmicks.... |

What was difficult to use about the P series? (cant comment on the M series) |

if u believe me or no, one of the most disturbing thing is - at least for me - that cyber shot text on k800. it just ruins the cover, its still a fone, not a digicam.

I wouldnt call it simple. But they fall in a completely different category. And they're expensive. I'm talking about something like a k800 with symbian.
But there's gotta be a logic behind the fact that nokia has a lot of java based phones but SE has about 3 symbian ones. |

Why do you need to choose a new phone? Will you need a smartphone (6280)?
Will you use the cam in the K800i?
If you just want to upgrade to better handset then the K800i will be newer and cooler. |

true, but "cyber shot" is a brand name, its associated with high quality pictures, for people who dont go into the details of phone specs you can look at the phone and instantly see its got a high quality built in camera, ok its not meant to be a digi cam, but this is what im saying about improving upon previous models until the next evolutionary jump in technology.
Whats your average joe gonna buy? a high quality mp3 player, a high quality phone and a high quality camera or a combined version of these with a memory stick, for around 1/3rd of the price? |

High quality cameras dont have crap like best pic. Seriously, are kids their target audience? Give some ISO and shutter speed options like samsungs have.
