Yeah, if SE bundled even a 128MB card with the phone (which is quite generous), Users would still probably want to buy a higher capaciy card anyway. 64MB as a starting amount is fine for most people plus the internal memory.

I agree that a M2 of 128Mb it's very good for a Cybershot phone, anyway you will end up buying a bigger one

I have never used a bundled card always opting to get the highest capacity available in the format required for the device.

I'm all ready to go with a 1 gb M2 so I just hope the K800 comes available for the 2gb cards git the shops!

K800 is a Cybershot phone indeed but let us not forget that it also can be a music phone.. a very decent one according to reviews... so, we really need a higher capacity M2 not just the bundled one. or else we will not enjoy the overall performance of the very versatile K800... thats why i will always opt to buy a higher capacity stick.

and as for the poster.. yes indeed your trying to find a phone.. and a bundled memory is really not an issue coz you have an option to buy another one that would fit your need, but then since the first post... all posters are trying to point out a single phone.. and that is K800.

ciao!

The current max capacity for M2 sticks is 1gb, and they're available to buy right now. In the near future a 2gb will be released, followed by a 4gb stick.

Where did you hear the max is 256mb ?

uumm i was sayin that... if ever SE would bundle a very decent M2 on K800, may it be 256MB above... not only 64MB... but then again its all wishful thinkin

They come with adapters guy, so the M2 will have a Duo pro adapter and a Pro adapter, so it can be used in any device using Sony memory sticks!

I think that's the reason why it will be more expensive because it will have two adapters.

I'll find out this coming friday evening as my K800i will be arriving then.
