First of all, i know a guy that can provide the flash file without any charge, and I should be able to get the R5D next week. Second, R5C is already outdated....R5D is a more perfect one. |

Hmmm, does it mean you'll be posting up R5D sometime next week for all of us to download? or will it remain private?

can the flashcable for the T28 also be used to flash the T68? Because I have seen shops sell the T28/29 flashcable but haven't seen a T68 flashcable yet. |

MMM interesting.
I could be wrong but i think the cable i bought is T28 flash cable and then some pins were modified so that it becomes a data cable. I think that is what you are talking about |

I had a friend that messed up his Nokia 7650 trying to upgrade the firmware by himself. He took it to a Nokia Service Station where they refused to help him. Tough luck for sure.
I do understand the US problem and why you would want to flash it by yourself. Just beware of things that can go wrong. |

Can you flash a phone via blue tooth? I have a T68i and I want to upgrade the software from the above mentioned site. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@waikincheng: do I have to split the .bin-File into two Files? Or is it also possible to Flash the phone by using the "Flash Language"-Method? Because the splitting of the .bin-file into 2 files sounds a bit strange to me (where do I know from that I've splitted the file into the "right" two parts?)

Splitting the file will be more safe, as told by an expert of ericsclient. I've tried spliting it first, and write it in a T68m, everything goes fine, so no need to worry. I've posted which program you should use to split, right? it's "ez-split", find it out in www.download.com. In the software, you can choose the size of the splitted file. choose the first-half to be 8192kB, then the software will automatically split the file into two, one is 8MB, and the second one is 2MB. rename the first one to be AVR.bin, and the second to be ARM.bin. After that, follow the instruction in gsmhacking.com.ua to flash them into a T68m. |

No you can't, at least in this stage. The ericsclient only support flashing cable. |
