lol, i get what you mean. come to think of it, on school days, when i'm out and about, it's usually on silent because i keep forgetting to turn the sound back on in between classes. i only get to turn the ringtones back on when i get home, for the next morning it'll be serving as my alarm clock.
my mother, on the other hand, wants her ricky martin tune blaring all the time for fear of missing a call.  although i rarely miss any of my calls as my phone is clasped in my hand most of the time, and if not it's in my pocket, headset attached while i'm listening to music.
