Ok ... so ... read again what I wrote, it has all the answers and in case you are still wondering: the name stands for nothing, it's after sony and ericsson became sonyericsson that we had that discussion and that a member came up with "only take blablabla" and was approved by Laffen later.

even if they are.. not exactly over something that important. who cares if it has a meaning, its all about the forum itself and the people on it.

Here we go again...

I'll quote myself from this topic from 2004-12-06

Quote:

It's been up a few times before like here, here, here, here, here, and, amongst a few more found, here.

I'll quote myself from one of the topics above:
"He, he...
It's funny how some topics seem to come back over and over.
Let's get this straight right away:
Esato does actually not mean any thing. He (Laffen) announced that himself at the Esato gathering we had here in Norway this spring. It's just a 5 letter word that is easy to say in most languages and just happened to be avalable as a .com domain at the time. Where he got it from as still a unanswered question.
Only Take A Sony Ericsson is a meaning that came later, wether it was Laffen or a member who came up with it I'm not sure of. But Laffen has accepted it as the meaning of the name."
