what a big rip off! The receiver has to pay 2rs for every sms he chooses to receive!

This is not a good service. Here in Karnataka, we have 100 sms's free daily in College Special sim cards and if you want to activate it on normal cards, daily Re.1/- rent is required.

@alan over here at up there aren't any offers such as 100 sms free daily.... There are very few options available on Airtel....
