Can somebody please give me some sort of official confirmation that se will be sponsoring the movie? I know ericsson was in tomorrow never dies, but motorola was in the last bond movie (the world is not enough- although very minor product placement) |

My guess why SE keeps so calm is that they are only of the minor partners in the new James Bond film.
You know, there are always plenty of firms involved in marketing actions. And especially the Bond films have a long tradition of being a major marketing platform for all kind of consumer goods.
So, as only being one of the minor advertisement partners SE just keeps calm and will be mentioned as that closer to film start.
SE and also Ericsson always had tons of such deals with the media and film segment. Even this and last year there were a number of films (even Hollywood) which were supported by SE.
The last example which comes to my mind is "O" (Othello)...
cheers,

I like the fact that they're not shouting it out like they did with Tomorrow Never Dies... that was a useless attempt since the phone wasn't available...even one that looked like it!!!
Nokia hit it big with 2 things... X-files and The Matrix... they didn't PRE-ANNOUNCE that they were in these shows... people watch, see...then buy!
It's good that people won't expect it... one thing for sure... once they do.. they will go out and buy.
I think this is a Sony tactic... the masters of marketting. Ericsson was all class... but marketting-wise...they had such BAD timing...they could never strike while the iron was hot. |

Its also true that Bond will no longer be using his trademark BMW as his car. This movie introduces Jaguar as his chosen car.
Can't wait to see the car fight scene |

just a note... the BLUE and WHITE T68i looks a bit girly... not that much, but it does look more feminine than the mineral gray T68i, or the T68m.
Jaguar? Really? Thought it was an Aston DB7... looked like one to me anyway. I could be mistaken. It looked like the Aston when it was driving on the ice. |

It is Aston Martin Vanquish V12 JB 007 Edition... or something like that! (I'm talking about the car now... ) |

The car he'll be using is the Aston Martin Vanquish, not another BMW.
BTW, just a trivia, the first signature car for Bond was always an Aston Martin, and not a BMW. The Bond20 movie will be a tribute of sorts to all the previous Bond movies (be on the lookout for the MI6 gadget laboratory scene as you'll be seeing a lot of the stuff Bond has used during all 19 movies).

Seeing as that couldn't possibly Halle Berry's hand, I'm gonna assume that James Bond is using our trusty Artic Blue t68i as a timing device and detonator for that bar of plastic explosive.
