Mm jag var också inne och fingrade lite i den inställningen. Skulle gärna kunna ställa in displayen och knapparna individuellt för jag tycker knapparna lyser lite för starkt i förhållande till displayen. Finns inställningar för kontrasten där också men den var nog optimerad redan från början. |

Today I got my phone back...! The new software verison is 29R1C, but I can't say I've noticed a diffrence... The reason I took it back to the shop in the first place was that when you're writing messages and use a word that the T9 Dictionary doesn't recognise, you should be able to add that word to the T9 dictionary... I couldn't do that! So probably the reason that they have released a new version is because there where some bugs in the old software...

Hey does it have color screen or just monochrome? And is it an upgrade to t66 or a completely new phone?

I'v got mine yesterday. I cancelled the order on the Internet-firm I had ordered it from and I run to Vodafonestore and bought it yesterday!
To all of you:
I think the phone is very good. No strange sounds from the shell or the buttons. 10 times faster than T68 and 5 times faster than T68i at least. I sold my T68i to buy tjis one and now when I got it I'm very satisfied. But I have had two problems so far. First one is when you try to write long sms. When you have written a big message as big as 2-3 ordinary sms, the phone hangs and acts like a computer that have hanged. It collects all the pushing on the buttons an once in a while it run all the actions at once in warp-speed! That only happened when I tried to write very long messages. Otherwise the writing is very quick and I think it is quicker than Nokia ;  ! ! !
Good work on that part, SE. When you make calls the sound in the speaker is very loud and clear, better than T68i. The ringtones are useless but, gothdamn so loud you can set them. I have never heard some phone make higher ring-noise! When it comes to the features it is very quick too. But it's bad that you can not have several numbers to one name and that the DRS-11 cable don't work with this phone. Maybe the cable work but none of the programs downloadable at christersson.org can recognise the T600 when it is connected. Maybe one of you out there who nows how to make that work.
Another question is;
Can I have use a backgroundpicture on this phone? In the settings you can turn it on/off but how do you get a picture in it? Is there pictures in the phone from start that you can use?
At last some more about the quality. When I charged it for 5 hours the first time and used the prone so much so the batteries died something strange happened. I turned it on several times after that to squize the last power before i charge it again. When I connected it to the charger nothing happened. the backlight and buttonlight turned on but no sign of charging in the display. Ohh no, I thought! I hope it is not some crappy first hand delivery phone... I tried to charge it again and same thing happened. Then I read the manual that said: it can take up to 30 minutes.....bla...bla...bla....
I let it in the charger for 1 hour and still the same happened. Then I thought I should go back to the store and get a new phone. But before I did that I took the batery off and the SIM and wiped it allt and put it all tgether a once more. Same thing happened as before.
Took the charger off and put it on again....AND IT WORKED. In Swedish it says: "Endast laddning" or something like that. And I hope it is not damaged so I will keep it and charge it to test the same thing once more before I maybe change it for a new one.
What does your phone say when it is turned off and you connect it to the charger? (Only Swedis answers to this question please!)
Someone who know why my phone did like it did when I wanted to charge it the second time? I mean like I describe it in the story above?
Please let me know what you think and ask me more about the phone if you want.

Here in Holland is the T600 also available.
It costs around 270-290 euro's and it is not locked to any provider |

Yes, now I can add words to the dictionary, when I write a word that the phone doesn't recognize it opens a little box where I can "mulittap" the word...

Ang. bakgrunds bilder.. Efter att du valt "Bakgrund På" eller nått sånt, gå in under Verktyg, Bilder... där letar du dig fram till den bild du gillar, trycker på alternativ kanppen och väljer "(4)Inst. Bild"... Det är egentligen typ som en skärmsläckare så jag förstår inte varför dom kallare det för bakgrund men... Gå tillbaks ut ur alla menyer och vänta några sekunder så dyker den upp...
När man laddar telefonen, gäller även T65 av egen erfarenhet, så står det "Endast laddning" om telefonen är avslagen och "Optimerad laddning" om den är påslagen...!

I will charge mine till tomorrow before I will use it and see what happends. I think the background thing is useless so I will not use it. I will also try to upgrade my phone as soon as possible.
DID the upgrade erase all data and settings in your phone or not? This is very important to me!
Henkan can you answer this fast?

@Henkan: You can add words not recognized by T9 with 22R1A too, just press the menu button and a list of options will appear. But did that box opened automaticly for you after the upgrade?
@Sahara: The same happend to me with my old t28, nothing happend for almost one hour after the battery had been completely empty. I let it stay in the charger for a long time and it finally started loading again. This happend too many times so I had it replaced by the store.

What software version is in your T600...?
Sorry that I didn't see your message before now... The upgrade did NOT erase the data on my phone, but that dosen't meen that it won't do it on yours. I upgraded my T65 twice, the first time the upgrade deleted all my data, the second time it didn't...!

I have to take back the thing I said about adding new words... Cause I'm not sure that that's what happens. But now a window opens where I can Edit/Add a word when the dictonary dosen't recognise what I write... Before the upgrade I couldn't edit a word that the dictonary didn't recognize, I couldn't even press the menu button! I had to delete a letter, press the menu button, and then choose "Edit word"...

..and regarding your problems with T9: the same happens for me, I can edit and add new words but when I type an unrecognized word in a SMS an "?" is added after it, and I have to delete that last sign before I can open the menu with the editing posibilities.
Maybe I should upgrade too then if it's free, it's a bit annoying to go through this small procedure everytime I want to add a new word. But I woun't if it costs me 500 SEK..
Can You use T9 in the calendar too? I can't |
