Speaking of 4gb HDD phones, is Nokia still getting their heads around the DRM software issues that have apparently delayed the N91 for so long?
Wonder if these 2 4-gig heavies will actually hit the shelves at the same time... |

Personally i dont think it would matter, the W950i would suffer a massive loss in sales simply because it does not have a camera.

yeah, for now.
An averge person would probably make the 4G go alot further without the camera, but still...
I can't imagine creating a new device like this without swapable memory. I mean sure 4GB is alot for a phone today, but what about in 2 or 3 years from now? Do these new phones not have a life expectancy of more than that?
Geeze, I still have my Nokia 5210.

Which SE phone, thats been aimed at the entry level has been cheap ?
none. With 4gb of memory, this phone will probably be rather expensive, especially since its also a UIQ driven smartphone.

No mention 'bout any graphic acceleration card nor what video format it'll support...guess video could be taken care of through 3 party software like SmartMovies & TCPMP. Btw...*IF* there's no external memory support, then would this mentioned "high speed USB" be as fast as a card reader ???

In a span of 2-3 years I am very certain that the peeps who have purchased this model will SURELY have upgraded their handsets by then . . . but still, the 4 GB is soooo much for a space to FILL ! As I am seeing the threads - NOW, we are just talkin' about 2 GB memory sticks, twice that is what this W950i has !

Oh No, a iPOD with QVGA TFT 2.6’’ Touch screen, PDA functions, e-mail, 4GB Internal memory, FM radio with RDS, Speakerphone, 2D and 3D gaming, 30 fps Video playback, Phone features, UMTS and Full screen full HTML internet!
THIS SUCKS!!!
IT DON'T HAVE A CAMERA!!!
IT ONLY HAVE 4GB MEMORY WITH NO MEM.CARD. SLOT!!!
W950 Size: 106 x 54 x 15 mm
iPOD Size: 104 x 61 x 14 mm
iPOD NANO Size: 90 x 40 x 07 mm
Look it's even bigger than the iPOD Nano and the memory is the same :S
No way this could cost more than the iPOD NANO 4GB.
Who would want/buy this thing anyway???

I will cost a lot more than an Ipod nano. I would not expect to pay the same as an ipod nano when this MP3 player also has video playback, a phone, 3g data services, full internet, fm radio, streaming video, games, etcc....

s4k1s what the hell you on about
how on earth could this not be more than the nano???
plus walkmans are beter than ipods anyway
its an mp4 player practically with top of the range phone features, and it DOES support memory cards... fine the specs say nothing of a camera, but oh well, its prob not aimed in that direction and the future could reveal hidden things...
