But dont P900/910i have huge batteries?

You would imagine that low end phones with hardly any features and mono-screens would have the most talk time but it also depends the the battery power.

nokia batts are damn good, as vanquish wrote. my n70 and k600 has got the same batt power ( 900 mah ) and the standby is the same, at heavy usage, ca 2 days... n70 has got a way bigger display, its 3g etc etc etc, k6 is the "half " of it... so the winner is n70

i'd agree there, the BHC-10 has a monster battery power of 1400mAH
which gives up to 7 hours talk time.... [addsig]

yeap, my mistake, 1400 mah not 1200. mea culpa. anyway. once i managed ce 3 weaks satndby at normal usage, very impressive. of course, it does depend on the small, greyscale screen aswell.

For ericsson, nothing beats the t65 if we are to consider the standard package meaning what originally comes with the unit. For other brands, nothing beats philips xenium series. Standard package w/o those extended battery packs boasts a massive 1 month standby time and a 7 hours talk time. For nokia, nothing beats the battery used on the 5110,6210 and 6310i. If going down to memory lane, nothing beats the lead acid battery of the motorola bagphone. Those 3 watts bagphones by moto! :-D

Yeah it will surely REST on the stand-by battery time the fone has. Old Nokia fones will surely win in this one Should we consider the 'kind' of network that we are using . . . too? [addsig]

@batesie t65, very good point. 950 mah batt

@jn indeed, the reception is important too. and according the fact, that /// fones has got real time aerials, very good result, cos nokia usually uesed a kind of built in boosters.

a booster makes the reception stronger, u can buy such ones in a shop aswell, there are almost for every models of different brands. areal is aerial, the booster is an extre thing.
