That's interesting!

The membership list is also interesting because, and correct me if I am wrong, the newest member is number one, so I think everyone's membership number changes, every time a new member joins!

@ofiaich, no, thats just a sequence number when you look at the memberlist, its not the member number

when looking at that list, if you hover the mouse over a member, or click it, you can see their membership number in the url

and yes peterkay, I have a wifi connection implanted so that when I sleep I am still connected to my home network and thus, Esato

I have joined some other boards where you can see the total time you've been online... So its definitely possible.

But, imho the whole idea of total time online is just another statistic because it really doesn't show how much you're involved in a particular forum....unless you are a frequent poster. Due to cheap internet here...i sometimes doze off while remaining "online".
I'm sure i'm not alone who does this!

I didn't say it wasn't possible, i just said it wouldn't be correct.
They can manipulate data as they want, but they can't get correct results.

@all
Thanks.

@masseur, yeh, either you have a wi-fi chip implanted, or you just leave your computer on 24/7 and logged into esato whilst using your CPU and bandwidth to search for extra terestrial lifeform (SETI) and decipher messages from the stars.

actually, I do have the SETI screensaver in the hope that it might be my computational power that finds that definitive proof of something that I strongly believe in, that we are not alone

certainly I haven't found a more worthwhile cause for my offline time yet and gladly donate my processory and bandwidth to the cause
