Sms is not a way of spreading, e-mail yes but most likely not on mobile phones. BT and mms are the only efective ways of spread. And when wifi gets involved massively it will be a hell for smartphone users. Well maybe not. ;-)

Indeed it does.
I had the chance to disinfect an infected phone recently..
It was affected with the latest version of commwarrior (i forgot the version) and i tried almost all anti virii apps but none of them were able to remove it.. the antivirii shuts down when it scans the affected folders!
Moreover, there's an "Infected with commwarrior" operator logo on the standby screen
And as john said, this even tries to spread through sms ..but since data transfer is not possible thru sms it will only affect your phone bills.. it will anonymously send text messages to a random person from your phonebook..and if you have an active mms acces point..then..you can imagine but i guess it wasn't able to use the infected phones sms centre number for some reasson , so the poor chap had an outbox full of blank sms that the virus had tried to send..
In the infected phone, i had to manually delete the infected folders after searching for hours and sometimes even that might not work.

Is surprising to see more and more nokias on this se forum.Did you know that every 3-d cellphone ever made is a nokia and on the vodafone networks ! That much about 'craposoft'.And the fact that one gets viruses for the s60 os (albeit rudimentary ones) says something too :-) you see that's why I have 'craposoft' shares .

our PC also got infected with that virus, probably brought by my sister's 3650 or p900.
good thing my phone is non-symbian, that's why it isn't affected.

if you set the bluetooth stack to keep the pc hidden, then it won't be susceptible to receiving the sis file. Although even if it does the file can't run on a pc so therefore there is nothing to worry about anyway. Windows can not be infected by the commwarrior virus.
Mario the reason windows receives this file is due to Bluetooth settings. If the settings are set to hide the computer then no object push is possible because the connection will be invisible to all but paired devices.
And I think you should apologise to the person you rudely attacked, since it was your ignorance infact and not theirs.
