all that im saying is that most people i know started on the nokia. it was the craze, i thought i would not like that t68 at first but i must say its absolutely amazing. its packed with so much stuff,  |

I agree with both Superluminova and Drow. The T68i is still simply the best phone out there at the moment.  has a great phone, and the t68 is still perfect for my needs, small, handy, easy to use, goes well with any PDA with blue tooth and there aren't any troublesome bugs like Nokia has. I can live without JAVA, no one has given me a good enough reason why this feature is important, other than the possibility of using ICQ and downloading dumb games.
With these new current phones coming out, I think the T68i can well survive into the next year for sure. The only phone that actually caught my eye is the Sendo Z100 and P800.
I don't know why people are so excited over the new Nokia phones and the new Samsung phones, they aren't all that great compared to the T68 features, size, and design. In fact, I don't exactly see any websites dedicated to some Nokia model (And don't give me that howards website bullshit, his site is dedicated to many variety of phones). |

All i can say is, let the Nokia users have their Nokia units. Who can blame them for having such lousy taste in technology and design? The more they buy Nokia units, the more we users will feel like the elite.

se t68i rules so much but I allso havé a nokia 7210 and that is allso a great phone!! the colour display is much cooler than t68i.. but the phone is not so cool as t68i´s feateres |

How pathetic. I go to a Nokia forum and find people talking about Nokia phones. Than I come here, on a SE forum, and again I find people talking about Nokia phones. I'm really getting tired of listening you people telling each other how much you hate Nokia phones, or how superior do you feel for using SE phones. If you think Nokia phones are such crap, why do you talk about them so much???

This may sound hypocritical, but i agree! Whenever i view on wap, all i see is nokia, nokia, nokia, nokia and this is meant to be a se forum. If i wanted to talk bout nokia, i would go to a nokia forum. Ok, rant over. :-o chris.

Well I may be diferent but i am intimidated by a Panasonic GD87, that will be my next mobile if all about it is true, I do not care about camera quality cause I´ll used it only for fun, so, not a Nokia here with me, from T68i to Panasonic GD87 what do you think? |

last time i checked this was a mobile forum.
OKay so its based mainly on ericsson/sonyericsson phones. but if you look on the phone section, you'll see there are other phones listed. maybe it does mean something, maybe it doesnt.
ive looked around and i dont see anywhere saying we are totalyl devotd to
so let us talk about our nokias
let us talk about our samsungs
and god.. let us talk about our bricks ffs
why should we be devoted to one company?
dont buy this because of its name etc....
from what i see on this forum, people see nokia as skoda.
they may have had shoddy products in the past. they have a bad name amoung certain people. but they make top notch products.
nokia arent the worlds leading mobile phone producer for nothing.
long live nokia...
but then again long live the others!

My personal opinion is that we should talk about Nokia, Samsung, Panasonic, etc. Comparing phones makes up one's mind. We are not in some sort of ghetto...
I of course agree that saying Nokia s...ks is not necessarily what I would call a discussion. Nevertheless it is important to have a look at all phones. I didn't sign any lifetime contract with
I am still persuaded that P800 is a phone that is one year ahead and has all the functions I expect in a phone (and in a Pda too, remember not many pdas have in-built camera).
And YES, I get angry when I see people buying Nokias just because they are not clever enough to have a look around. No one can tell me that the Nokia with in-built camera is the best phone of it's kind out on the market... I am not talking about it compared to , but to any manufacturer.
So let us talk about Nokias, Panasonics, Siemens, Samsungs, Alcatels and Sendos...
I am still convinced P800 will be a great phone and a great way to spend my money in mobile phones.

i dont believe the original poster is saying you shouldnt talk about other brands, they're just fed up like a few of us with all the anti-Nokia bs.
to be blunt, if you read topics like "when did you get your first mobile" you'll find lots of people have only just arrived, therefore it's understandable they talk what i consider to be utter sh**!
if you listen to them your more stupid than they are...and there are alot of you...you definitely out number me!
