for me the only accepteable and welcome products are coming from europe ( sadly less and less in the present ) and maybe usa. in morita akio's ( father os sony ) book ( made in japan - the history of sony ) they searched the worldmarket always for ideas, then they developed it. yes, there are some asian products which are useful, but the knowledge ( it means for me tradition and past ) is usually from europe ( just take a look at the mob fones )

my opinion about the sony ericsson logo is:

it looks cool when its in colour - but in the start up thingy on my t200 it looks shit to be honest

the fexEX logo was designed to do that. i know a guy high up in the business, and it is supposed to make you remember the company name better. when they were little, they needed something to catch peoples eye. it didnt work as well as they thought though.

Just recently I've been comparing the new "BenQ Siemens" logo to the SE logo. Could they be any lazier? They simply stuck both logos together, without even a unified color! I really think the two don't look good next to each other, and that they should've used an approach more similar to SE; making a totally new logo/design.
