yapliren, I so agree with you. I'll just wait for new smarter phones instead of buying phones which are close to or even worst than the t68. These new phones are great with color screens, but incredibily lacking in features.

Exactly what is the features you are waiting for?

True, i wouldn't give away my T68 for any phone unless it had the same functions no matter how many thousand colors the display has! However, its time for SE to bring something new to the market otherwise people will go to Nokia :-(

I'd definatly wait for the P800 if it came in a smaller and better looking package!

Who knows, I'm sure theres something great coming out soon. Like Bluetooth, I never realized how great and useful it could be a year ago.

Hello people!

I too feel cheate by because some months ago I sold my T68i to begin my long wait for P800, but I just can't see it coming!

My "old" T39m soon needs replacement and I looked open-mindedly at models from all manufacturers.

Well, here's my (personal) conclusion:

: great features, poor design, slow SW (at least for existing models)

Nokia: quite good design (6610, 7210), lack of some features (BT, email client), high price

Siemens: well, are they coming with something new?

Samsung: poor, poor battery time due to the great screen

I was tempted by 7210 or 6610. Here's the link if you wanna hear their poly ringtones:

http://www.nokia.com/phones/7210/digiserv_ringing.html

But when I saw this report, I decided it was worth waiting for P800. Especially looking at the bottom picture. P800's size is nothing compared to Nokia's what-s-his-name-6210-? !

http://www.phonearena.com/htmls/read_reviews.php?id=242

But if I'll have to wait till january, I'll go for one of those crappy nokias

By the way, do you know how many polyphonic channels P800 has? Thanx!

@doowap

Yes, the p800 isn't that big. It's not tall but it's quite thick.

I just wasn't able to estimate the thickness out of this pic.

But you're right, we'll judge better when it's in our hands.

I've got my hands on a P800 in Paris (In a big Orange shop). It looks nice, little bigger than the T68i, but not too big. However, it just doesn't feel like a phone to me

I've tried the Nokia 7650 as well, what crap compared to the P800. Thing looks like a mini-black-brick.
