P800 in first quarter of 2003 |

I am afraid it is right that P800 crashes all the time because all the three samples they had in CEBIT Eurasia Istanbul crashed when I tried to load a game, watch the video clip, or get into the internet and some other applications. I am assuming that they would have had the latest and bugfree versions in the fair if they had solved the problem, don't you agree? Well I don't know you but I would rather wait a bit longer and get a bugfree and stable phone! And 32MB of MSduo and other surprises would be nice also! |

If SonyEricsson is going to wait till 2003 here's what they should do:
1. give a bigger memory card (32 or 64mb)
2. swich the camera to video camera 
3. put another video camera in the front and make the mobile compatible with UMTS (3G).
4. put in the box all the acessories (including a bluetooth headset)
5. lower the price!
6. (and most important) Tell people what they're doing, what they're thinking, and when is it going to be released!

I went to London the other day and had a play around with the P800 they have in the cpw opposite john lewis and the guy (who actually had a lot of knowledge on the P800 and bluetooth etc) told me that it will be released at the end of october and that SE told him that it will come with an app that lets you use it as a video camera! |

Come on, do you ever want to see this phone?! That will probably push the launch til after the next Star Wars film!

Have Sony ever been known to do something like that when thay can make huge money by selling it to you later?!

hello I just visited "Termium" yesterday and sonyericsson had a podium there. They were showing the new phones already out T200 R600 T600 and they got a prototype of T300 and P800... when i knew they had the P800 i rushed to see it first. Oh my! How lovely it does look like, too small I didn't think it's that small, it looked bigger in pics. Its colors are just amazing. The screen was so clear under the heavy bright lights. it was like glittering. I tried first the new things... MIB II and internet browser, they just worked amazingly. Calender phonebook calculator -how cool it is by the way- handrighting recognition which was so easy to use, camera ... Everything's just sooo good except for the speaker it's not that loud -well maybe cos of the noise- but it should be loud enough in other circumstances. It had a memory stick duo 8MB but he told this is not which will be included. Nobody knows yet what will the box include. I played with it for 18mn almost and it didn't crash at all. So I think it's ready to be released. I asked him about the delivery date and price. He said DECEMBER and around 700-750$ I hope it won't cost more when it comes out... Nokia had a stand too but almost everyone was interested in the P800 especially that nokia were showing dummies for 3510i 6610 3650 7210 and u weren't allowed to touch the 7650 which costs 950$. I will surely get this lovely P800 when it's out. Am in love hehe.
