R520 was out ages before the T68, and a way better phone it was too. Without doubt the R520 was the first production phone to have bluetooth.

There was first the T36, then th R520 and later the T39. I don't know which one it should be, because as we all know, the T39 is actually the T36 with bug fixes and minor changes.
See it as T68m vs T68i with the only difference that T36 wasn't produced in mass.
For infrared option, that's a difficult one, IrDa is actually very old feature. Even the GF788 could be equipped optionally with an IrDa adapter. Remember the GF788? the precedor of the T18s.. |

The 6210 was the nokia available at the time the R520 was out, and not the 6310 which came much later, and if I remember correctly, the 7650 was out before the 6310, and it only had data bluetooth. No nokia had bluetooth before any Ericsson phones, and even when they did get bluetooth, it never worked well. Also the T36 was a prototype phone, and the R520 umts phone, was out at the same time, as was the R520 proto, so I would say both were released about the same time, but the R520 was in production about 1 month before the T39.

Some people have lost it.
Bluetooth + MMS = SE T68i
Bluetooth = Ericsson R520
MMS = Nokia 3510
GPRS = Ericsson R520
Infrared = ?
Polyphonic Ringtones = ?
Colour LCD = ?
Thanks a lot for all your help. Try and use sources if you can.
And changed the topic name to make it more relevant.

The Nokia 3510 can't be the first phone with mms, the T68i was out way before it, weren't it?
And I think the first phone with polyphonic ringtones was one of the sony phones, and I think the first with a colour screen was some siemens phone, i think it only had four colours but thats still a colour screen. |

The first GPRS was not the R520. It was some Motorola.

MMS = SE T68i
GPRS = Ericsson R520

Polyphonic Ringtones = ?
Colour Screen = ? (T68i was first colour screen phone from SE)
Java = ?
