Its possible to have two lines. Like in philippines we can use two sim card with different network, for as long as your unit has line 1 and 2. But in most cases nokia cel are the only one that are most capable to have dual sim cuz you can buy the back of the cover that has an installation for the 2 sim card.

Its so sad to know what happened to your mobile. We have a lot of cases like that. And most filipinos who have stolen mobile report it in national telecommunication council. This group will help you blocked the mobile (büt you have to know the serial number of the unit, which can found in the box or by typing *#06#) so even you put diff sim they cannot use it. But sad to say, i saw in a tv program that people can unblock the unit by the use of some software that they both in the internet.

Yes you can hijack the IMEI number or change that number using certain software.

To crack the locked phone requires a new IMEI, that's why really old phones are asked for in second hand markets for rather high prices. You take the IMEI from the old phone and somehow transfer it to tne stolen phone. That's what I've heard.. yeah yeah
