A proper glass screen that doesn't scratch, but would probably be too expensive |

SE should soon be looking to capitalise on the success of the T68/i by bringing out a phone that is seen as a direct successor. It'd have to be better spec'd than a 7210, but a direct competitor. My ideal imaginary phone would be something like this:
Sony Ericsson T88 (it's gotta have a name
Triple band
Phone dimensions 109x49x20mm
Weight 109g
Screen 4096 colours, 144x160 pixels
Camera 16bit colour, 320x240 pixels
MS Duo slot & MP3 player
6MB inbuilt memory
MMS
Java (free SDK please)
Joystick navigation
WAP 2.0 and HTML browser
No replaceable covers, but available in 3 colours (I like a phone to feel solid)
Bluetooth & GPRS of course
Of course, T68 type styling would be nice...
Build me a phone like that and make it available for under 600 Euros and I'd have one But of course, SE need to be bringing out nice low end phones to get their market share.

Same specs as the T610. With MemoryStick!!! (and cooler games standard) €450 maximum and it will be a hit!!
The T610 is a good phone, but all the featers allready excist on other mobiles (nokia, siemens, ...) I hope the price will be under the 500
A nice design, not like the T300/T310 offcourse.

The P800 successor needs to have a hard-drive, like iPod. But smaller and cooler and looks like SO505i.

Prefers a phone based on the symbian OS. The P800 is way too big and fat. T610 is the right size.
- A memory stick slot is a good to have.
- The camera should be an attachment rather than a built in. What if they release a new communicam? At least I can upgrade my camera to a better one, follow by a update on the firmware for utilizing the new camera.
- Colour screen (TFT = eats battery alive OR STN = healthy & happy battery)
- Have an organiser feature where you can put short notes and maybe stickies.
- Simple games
- Java
- Easy Synchro with pc (backup contacts)
- More RAM (For Poly-ringtones, pics,more contacts)
- Allow backing up from phone RAM to Memory Stick (if any is built into the phone)
- GPRS, WAP
- IRDa
- Fast SMS with T9
- Able to read and type chinese characters (maybe with T9)
Its a dream to have and worth every cent to get it. |
