SIMPLY USE the night mode function for sure!

this is taken by my K750i:

*those will come with "Creation Software: Photoshop 7.0" on their EXIF files, but i only resized them to fast upload on my photobucket. no other interpolations.

see?
this is the real ability of K750i cam. even much better than 'the all-round' N90. [addsig]

Now try taking a well focused macro picture (distance to lens around 1in) The k750i is just not up to it.The night mode is also not as good as some 'fans' pretend it to be.Look no further then the first post in this same tread. Also the focusing system is a bit to slow.Is not really point and shoot, but more like point wait a sec to focus and shoot.Never the less a very nice quality, cheap camera phone.I am not even mentioning the video 'quality'.Greetings from South Africa. Mario

sorry mario, but sometimes you really do annoy me with all your nokialoving c***. The original poster has a K750 and needed to verify if his K750 pictures were of normal quality or if there was something wrong. What good it is to him that you start posting your nonsense about the N90 camera, does that help him in any way in this thread ? does it have any relevance at all in this thread ?
No, it doesnt help and no, it has no relevance, its just you agitating your usual nokia stories.

This wasnt really a K750 camera versus N90 camera thread to begin with, but since you brought it up, then.

Both cameras are only mobile cams, both have their weaknesses and their strengts. It doesnt make any sense to point out one single area where one camera is better than the other.
Yes the N90 does better video, but we werent talking about video. Yes, the N90 makes better macroshots on distances below 1-2in, but the K750 makes better macroshots on distances from 2-4in.
No, the K750 do not have an especially slow focus, its as fast as any other mobile with auto focus (of which there are only very few), the rest simply just doesnt autofocus, they have a fixed focus where the only way to focus is for you to physically place yourself in the right distance according to the fixed focus before taking the picture. Thus most of the time they take crap out of focus pictures. The instant point and shoot idea with no focusing is for amateurs who doesnt know the difference.
And in regards to the N90 vs K750 debate, then in 80% of the normal circumstances and conditions where people usually take pictures, the K750 wins, making it the best overall camera.
The only circumstance where N90 is better is in macro below 1-2in which is why the nokia lovers usually only want to compare pictures of this kind every time I debate this with N90 owners.
Ive had this debate with N90 owners in other forums, and every time when I start posting non macro pictures and ask them to post similar from N90, they allways chicken out.

Therfore I dare you, do you even own a N90, or are you just posting claims you have no real knowledge about ? do you dare backing up your claims and post a series of N90 pictures you have taken with your N90 if you do have one ? then Ill gladly post some of my K750 pictures for comparison. or will you just chicken out like every other N90 owner I dared ?

Yeah come on Mario, let's see 'em.

Note: the reason the N90 doesn't have auto focus - it's so heavy you can't hold it steady long enough for the cam to focus

My personal experience with the K750 in light mode is that indeed there is noise to be seen in dark backgrounds. That is due to the internal software automatically cranking the gain on the little sensor to ISO 800 which generates noise. I can see noise out of my Nikon D70 when I crank the ISO to 1600+ but again - that's to be expected. One way to reduce this effect is to use the night mode. The camera tries to slow down the shutter (1/10 - 1/5) in order to let more light in instead of turning up the ISO. Only issue is - you have to have VERY VERY Steady hand to get a good well focused pic that way.

And as far as all this CCD is better then CMOS talk. That's really getting old. Lest we forget that Sony is the manufacturer of the Nikon D2x CMOS 12.1 MegaPixel censor? Or that they just released a new 10MP camera also using CMOS? Or that Canon has been using CMOS sensors for all of their DSLR cameras? And when anyone tells me "Oh - but these are professional cameras you can't compare them" all I have to say is - Do you REALLY think that Sony has not gained ANY knowledge on how to make high quality CMOS censors when they devloped the 12mp and 10mp censors? Do you think that they have not applied this knowledge when designing the sensor for the K750?

You can see in this comparison of both phones how "good" the N90 is under "all other circumstances"

Just play around a little bit with the settings and practice untill you get better results. The camera in the K750 is quite good.

www.mobileburn.com got a much more comprehensive camera comparison between N90 and K750/W800 as well, and the reviewer chose the K750 over N90.

@shafayet

the 1st picture was taken by R1A, the 2nd and 3rd ones was taken by R1L. they were really two phones actually. the R1A belongs to my boyfriend, the R1L is mine.

IMO, R1A takes pictures better.

Camera quality did suffer from R1J on. It's better again in R1N, but of course R1N has it's own bugs...
