Something cool I discovered on my k750i |

No one told you that you had to use this feature...I found it interesting to hear your phone through your speakers. And I do think the phone's mic. is sensitive, and you can actually achieve better sound without echoing and other interference, depending on a couple of factors including how close you are to your speakers. My point with this post was to be informative like most of the post that are on the forum, maybe the transferred sound is not a high quality but still good enough for me to charge my phone and use a headset at the same time. The way it's hooked up for me from my compuer it goes to a 4 channel mixer and from there it goes to my entertainment system. Its easy to unserstand conversations when I'm on the headphone, but I don't have a BT. headset and I can't use the fast port with my headset plugged in. So with a headphone plugged into my mixer I can have a conversation on the headphone and still use the fast port for usb access. |

I try to do the thing described in first report, but id doesn't work. Bluetooth stack services Voice Gateway and Headset are started automatically. So I go to my phone's services, activate HF Voice Gateway. The PC pairs with my phone - ok. Instead of bluetooth icon there's headset icon on mobile display - ok. But when I search for new handsfree (under settings-connection-bluetooth-handsfree) the phone founds nothing. So I try to call, but there's no sound from PC Speakers.
Can somebody help me? |

ok, what you have to do is:
-Turn on Bluetooth on phone and make sure your computer is in discoverbale mode.
-Go to Settings-Buetooth-Handsfree-My Handsfree-New handsfree...and make a search. If all your settings are fine, your phone will find your computer. You just have to add this as your new handsfree, and when a call comes in in the more opten you'll find the prompt for transfering sound to this device. Have fun!

You have to make sure your blutooth dongle supports audio gateway, and that these features are turned on. ( I have Widcomm BST-120)

(Same here- my blueooth dongle uses widcomm drivers).
The first time i did this it was sounding gr8! But then the second, i started getting distorted sound like a dial up modem and had to cancel the call (luckilly i was only calling O2 Top-up!). But it's worked fine since, probably just interference with my wireless mouse???

If you set your pc with the audio getaway, everytime a call come your pc is going to act like a headset, you phone must be in the bluetooth range, is great, sometime doing already....

I've heard distortion sometime on my speakers. I figured out the only way it works for me if I put the phone on the table and not move it when it transfers the sound to the computer. |

Thanks for the awesome tip guys. I have one question though. I have no mic connected to my laptop. Is there a way I can use my laptop speakers while using my phone as the mic? As of now, if I transfer sound to my laptop, the other person on the phone can't hear anything I say.

Hey ppl,
i have a bluesoleil dongle and it does not work with WIDCOMM drivers. As a result i donot have "my network places" to enable Audio gateway. Is there any other way i can get this done? BTW, i have a SE T630
