Maybe the S700i was made in japan because it was closely related to the japanese phones like so505i.

my s700i was made in france, just like my p800!

Mine S is Japanese. On the W800? Its strange because I read that all W's would be made in Europe.

I posted an article here which I think was an interview about the success of the W800 in which it was stated that for quality reasons they would be made in Sweden. I will fish it out tomorrow for you.

Ha ha, but increased demand may then force then to outsource production. May be the early models are Swedish or a small fraction of them are.

those are the lucky, who own swedish ones. it would be really interesting to compare a eu and an asian one.

I suppose it would be interesting to compare the quality, although I doubt there would be that much difference. Have you yet to find a Swedish one Boba?

maybe just some of them, as u mentioned, the first ones. its way cheaper to produce it in malaysia, china or wherever.
