Oh sorry, I mean the camera/SOS light.
I don't look into it, and yet it still causes problems.

What are you talking about??? Don't use it if it causes you problems! Its purely there to act as a flash for very low lit conditions. It has the SOS function, but its only for fun. This thread is a joke.

that tiny light is much stronger than any of my flashlight around. compare it with the light of nokia's 1100... it's like halogen versus led

i love the light, if you really can't stand it then why just not use it?
if it wasn't as bright as it is then i don't think it'd be very useful

I dont know if anybody else has noticed, but my k750's flashlight seems to getting dimmer with passing time. when it was new, i couldnt look at it directly, it could double up as a headlamp for my bike! Now its not that bright though. Any ideas?

I thought of that too.
On occasion I have used it but riding one handed. I've thought about adapting a pouch for it so I can use it as a handsfree headlight. |

The problem is the flash continuously 'on' after we activate it. That constant lighting will disturb our vision. Actually the flash itself is considered too dim compared to regular digicam. SE just have to make the flash only 'flash' or on immediately after we press the shutter- not after we activate it.

The flash is needed to be ON prior to taking the picture in order to assist with the Autofocus. Without it the camera won't be able to focus propelry. I puchased the additional "true" flash and it makes a huge difference when taking shots in the dark or dim environment. It can trully light up a room and the shots don't end up at ISO 800 the way some of my shots with just the built in flash do. |

Does anyone else think that SE phones have this problem? The light is so strong on my W800i it really does cause a lot of problems for a person who is prone to black outs like myself.
The K700i had this problem too, and I am sure the K750i has the same problem.
Has there been any discussion about this?

I am not sure how bright is this. But the reason the light stays on, is make sure that even at night you can still see in the view finder.
Thats why it goes even brighter when you actually snap the pic. |
