Boba- ive now got a N70 and id say the screen is the same as the 6230i. very nice.If your in any doubt go into a phone shop and see if you can have a place with one. i dont think you'll be dissapointed |

Yes N90 propably has one of the best screens at the market right now, but hes not asking about the N90, but about the N70
And N70 does not have the same high resolution screen, its actually a lower resolution screen than on the 6230i.
N70 use the ordinary 176x204 symbian resolution as older symbian phones, while 6230i use 204x204 resolution. Furthermore N70 has a pysically larger screen than 6230i. A larger screen with fewer pixels than 6230i, and theres your reason why it does not look as sharp as 6230i. The amount of colors doesnt affect how sharp it looks, 262k colors as opposed to 65k colors, only means less colorbanding, better corlorreproduction.

Minor corrections: N70 screen is 176 x 208 and 6230i screen is 208 x 208. |

Just used N70 for 2 days and i feel nokia have let themselves down although the phone looks ok it has poor picture quality along with very slow system eveything takes ages, the plastic camera lens cover is of very poor quality and feels very cheap im now back to using k750i and P910i |

i was very disappointed, when i saw for the first time the n70 display, unfortunately the same crap resolution like in 6680, so i kept 6680, no interest for n70 anymore...

i made up my mind and gave a try for n70. the only advantage is the 2mp cam and its damn fast on 3g. the resoluiton is crap, n90 has got the most beautiful one among the nokias imo

unfortunetly the panasonic vs series dont have any external memory slot.
uh well, panasonic ceased its production next year.

n70 would have been worth to get n90 screen imo. another thing: did u recognize, that the radio drains the batt pretty fast?
