You can directly download *.cab files from the net. Not the *.exe installers, which are ment for win32. However, if you find a *.exe file which will run directly on the xda, you can download and run it, just make sure that you have all the runtimes installed. (I believe the vs.net Compact Framework 1.1 comes pre-installed on wm2003se)

@Debu thanks for the reply. Is there any way I can send a contact via sms I really dont know how to do that in Xda, have tried almost every possible way but could'nt succeed.

@vin: Its not possible. Period.

I've tried everything.....and I mean Everything. WM does not support it, not even the newer wm2005 supports it.
