My order of preference:

1. candybar
2. flip
3. slider
4. clamshell
5. swivel

For me the lesser the moving parts, the better.
resistance is futile.

Couldn't agree more!
I've only ever owned candybar, but my next will be a swivel.

I've used all sorts of designs of phones over the years, and i have to say, it really doesnt bother me, as long as it doesnt look cheap and tacky.

Candybar for me, but I do like slider phones, and the W900 seems very promising, because to open it, you simply jolt it in the direction you want to open it in, and it opens itself automatically which sounds very cool!

Of all the people who have replied so far, 63.63% prefer candybar phones; 4.54% people prefer flip, same for swivel and slide ones. Where as 22.73% people do not have any specific choice or were unclear with their replies. Keep 'em coming, people !
