W800i all the way..
the K750 was released at the same time when the W800i was anounced...
and everyone bought the k750 first and most of you people regret it lol
the W800i looks soo much better.
even when i take the w800i to phone shops and ask for parts and stuff.. they all say w800i looks very neat and really slimmy.
the k750 buttons gets loose after a few months use.
my w800i is still as tough and nothing is lose. eg the joystick on it is tough.. not like the k750i..its lose as a goose
cant go wrong with the w800i
ohh and i like the orange lights and white case..
wait till on the back of your 750 lens cover gets lose..then everytime u pick up your phone u will turn ur camera on

I orderen the K750, with Sandisk 1024 MB MS Duo Pro, the Hmp-70 headset, cradle for the car and car charger.
Black is the new black......W800, it just looks "silly"...completely white, yes...completely orange, no..orange at all, no.

I cant understand what youre trying to decided... the W800 is pretty much the same phone as teh K750, with extras.... i know which one i waited 2 months for..... W800 all the way!! you say your chucking away £50.... well how much is a sony memory card duo (512) these days????? so it aint £50 down the pan is it?!?!
hope this helps
Let us know what you go for!
Ps, about teh colours on the w800, i was worried about this too, but i gotta say, i aint bored of them, actually, ive grown quite fond of them |

given the things you ve said you would use and the things that aint that important, go for the k750. my buttons aint slack and ive had mine for about 4 months now the camera cover is fine as well.
a bigger memory card will set you back the price difference but if you dont need one short term save your money, as the prices of memory cards is dropping all the time.
colour scheme is personal choice ithink the w800 looks like a fisher price phone and all the ones ive seen on display the white has turned yellow, however no one on here has complained about that so maybe its shop lighting damaging it.
some people love the looks or one over the other either way your getting a decent mid range phone with plenty of features. |

From what i have read in this forum, i think the 750 outweighs the 800.

what is that nonsense that everyone that bought the K750 regret now that the w800 is out. I havent seen anyone. The only ones Ive seen saying this are W800 owners - go figure
I certainly do not.
I bought one of the very first K750 so mine is as old as it can be, and I have no problems whatsoever, neither with buttons, joystick, cameraslider or anything. And Im not the least bit tired of the black K750, it is somewhat more distinct than the W800 orange.
I bought a W800 for my girlfriend when that came out, its working fine also, but she is allready beginning to get a litle tired of the white/orange combo, and looks to my K750 for a trade often. She wont get it, but Ive offered to exchange the housing for her.
Like all fashionthings the w800 looks nice to begin with, but you get bored with it faster than you do with the more conventional elegant black K750. K750 has a longer lasting appeal.

Oh well! got cheque today and couldnt make my mind up out of the k750i & w800i, so i went to my local mobile shop to see the phones in the flesh, guess what? the bloody w800i was out of stock so i couldnt get the feel of it, the dummy phone was there and i must say the camera shutter works a treat!
Conclusion.
Got home and ordered a w800i should be here 2moro & if i get bored of the colours ill order a housing from the D750i.
Thanx for all the replys guys. |
