@Leviath
Heard that about you. I notice from another thread that you've just got a new 2GB MS card!! What to send me your old 1GB FOC

But really, Iam looking to get a 1GB in the very near future, so if any one know's somewhere that'll beat £60.51, let me know

@Aldrew

Unfortunatly it is not quite that simple...

The 1GB is already gone and welcome is the 2GB that is staying until I get the 4GB.

Percs of knowing the right people.

Hi, Long time lurker, first time poster.

Been hunting the bay for decent deals, and this "emartbuy" seems a v.good bet. I dont mind buying off ebay, but for the sake of saving a couple of quid and risking the international shipping I thought emartbuy seemed good.

Just wanted to draw your attention to this though

http://www.emartbuy.com/uk/ca[....]scl/itemDetail.aspx?itemId=507

as you can see the Gaming version is the exact same price. Might as well get this and get the extra speed as its free.

No, theirs is for the "Non Gaming" version. If you look at the link you will see where mine ends in "507" theirs ends in 462. Gaming is supposed to read/write faster and is supposed to be more expensive.

I was meerly stating that before getting the standard 1GB stick, consider getting the gaming stick as it is quicker and the exact same price.

I was trying to help, not steal other peoples thunder.

If yeou read all of my post, you would see I was saying that "the gaming version was the exact same price".

Thanks

Hi,
One advantage of living here in the UAE,prices can be haggled all day long. My friend got a 2GB memory stick for 40 pounds. Thats pretty good here. I'm thinking of buying a bunch (say 50) and selling them on ebay for 70 pound or something.

Is this ture? I take a quote from another thread.

Now if the gaming version has a slower (maybe) write speed surely this is a bad thing in phones, with camera's etc....

Wilst I would like to keep this topic about the prices I apprecciate the Speed/price interest....

But for your information and others I can tell you that your second quote is almost total crap...

I fast write/read card like say the MS duo pro ultraII as superior read/write over a normal card and or a gaming card....

A gaming card is a optimised read/write not just optimised in read speed and left to ruminate on the writes... Just not feaseable.

This is why faster cards performing better cost a little/lot more.

It is a good deal to buy them cheaper but personally the UltraII is my choice for any device supporting a MS duo pro type card...
