i am in the UK
its from vodafone direct black version only branding is locked GPRS settings to vodafone live!. |

cool, when did you do this? today? i tried sunday but no luck! did it go from 50% to 100% quickly and then when it completed and you turned it on did it ask you to select language etc?
is the signal strength and call volume improved?

yes it did go from 50% to 100% quickly and yes the signal bar and call volume have increased. also the screen seems to have been adjusted as all my pictures look better on it. did the update today. |

Yeay, just succesfully updated my black (no DRM) vodafone to R1N035. Seems to have worked fine. |

great looks like its working for vodafone users aswell as 02 users now - when i finish work im gonna give it a go...
@SCOTTP did you find the call volume and signal reception better with the new firmware?
anybody else?
p.s whats DRM? is that the MP3 thingy? |

Just updated successfully to R1N035 on UK voda non drm software.
Will test the phone and report back in a few hours. Fingers crossed my hbh-610 will now work.... |

Oh my god... at last...
My "black" k750 now works with the HBH-610 Finally.... It taken them a while.... Camera seems fine, video quality is better than previous R1L (i think... but hey i use a camcorder for video anyway), mp3s seem fine, memory stick contents all intact (oh yes remove the memory stick before you upgrade)......, phone is still SIM free ....... so happy so far.....
ok, the particulars are as follows:
R1N035
EU_1 etc......
Camera version is 4.5 (previous 4.4)
CDA102338/68 R4A
Europe_2

@jonnyboy13 - call signal appears to be better, can't say about call volume, no one's called me yet  Hopefully I'll be able to test the camera over the weekend.
As for DRM - it's Digital Rights Management. Normally Vodafone only let you use DRM'd MP3's as ringtones. However, the 'black' k750i from vodafone tends to allow you to use any MP3 without having to DRM.
I also removed memory stick before updating and had no issues during the update.

I have R1L002

I tried to update today and it daid mine was already up-to-date
I don't understand why... anyone got any helpful suggestions |

Hi Guys, I am looking forsome one what can help me un brand my k750i from the Vodafone network in South Africa. I tried the davinci sooftware , but no luck. I am willing to pay to get the crap vodafone os off my cool k750i

I also have a Vodafone silver branded K750i. I have just tried SEUS again and it still says R1L is the latest.

The same here guys!
Getting really annoyed that it is taking so long for this firmware to become available for the silver vodafone branded EU2 phone.
Does anyone have info on this and have vodafone or sony made any comment on the inconsistency?
