From what i know of the MMS upgrade will not be FREE there is going to be some sort of charge or fee, something like the siemens SL45i upgrade which has Java there is a charge for that too,but personally who cares in order to have the best you gotta dig deep!!!!

Why should it not be free of charge?
(Sony) Ericsson is advertising that the phone will have MMS when the services are available to support this feature.

Evidence of the new MMS version does not seem to stop. -
See this article for official statements from Sony Ericsson pretty much confirming most of the rumors being stated here:

ARNOLD : Nice info, thanks

Trancedancer too

I think it will be free,..I havent heard anything else. And havent said, that you would have to pay for it.

I dont think you can compare this upgrade, with the Java-upgrade for Siemens SL-45.

Well... in the Ericssony spec's they say the T68 will have MMS! Sounds stupid that we would have to pay more for a function they allready have prommised us!

It will all be free and in just a couple of weeks! Check my post about what I could see was new in the MMS-upgrade, I tested a phone a couple of days ago and there were LOTS LOTS of new features and cool things!

I think it is a bit sad that the T68i MMS does not support any Video Codecs. According to the general MMS specifications, Video is possible but apparently T68i is not fully complient with these MMS specifications. The Nokia 7210 supports video files. Maybe it is because the T68i only has 1Mb of memory free.
If the T68i supported video, Java, had built-in camera, MP3 player, MMC slot, FM stereo, 16 mill. color display, it would really rock. I guess you can't have it all, in such a small phone with internal antenna.
Oh well, I like it anyway
