DmX, I have heard that it will ship with the s/w for taking movies on the CD. So you can install that bit of s/w onto the phone memory if you wish. Actually sounds like there will be a lot of software on that CD...now all they have to do is release the thing!

R U Joking?

They have the same OS but (there will be "but" always ) P800 has the higher version. Sure it can be a video camera and with regards to its capacity it will be more fun to have it since it has a bigger memory (longer recording time)

The question is; is it able to capture sound when it records video? The microphones on phones tend to be small and bad.

About the memory, someone who actually owns a P800 (prototype of course), told me that some kind of universal memory cards (most of you probaly understand what he meant), which means memory up to 500 or 1000 MB with today's memory cards.

P800 will come with Memorystick duo. Normal memory sticks will not work in P800, they are bigger. Memorystick duo will work in normal memorystick devices with the adaptor (pictured somewhere in these forums).

Well lets see who can answer some of these questions hrmmm, lets see how long has the P800 been on the market lets see umm NO. So how the F*#k are people ment to know if you know anything the P800 is delayed there are a few out there for TESTING that haven't got the final software in it etc you all saw the way how software can change a phones function ie T68m to T68i.

So stop screwing this forum with bullshit like this, the matter is that when the P800 comes out its going to be a far bit different than those few that are being tested atm.

Hello people
i would like to ask some Q abt the P800 and i hope that someone will answer to them:

1. The p800 accepts www so it doesnt neeed wap, that means i could go to the internet without needing wap just data line? (please answer)

2. Will the 128mb for the digital camera work with the P800?

3. Would you be able to download/install messengers like MSN?

4. About the meomry it has 12mb built in and does it have other 16mb (built in) for the camera and plus the meomry stick?

5. What comes inside the box of the P800?

Thats all

and please please someone answer all my Q

thankz in advace!

1.) Yes, the built-in browser supports WWW & WAP... but your provider might not have the proper WWW/WAP gateway to access the net, since you say you still don't have WAP... so I'm assuming you don't have GPRS either.

2.) No, the P800 uses the NEWER Sony Memorystick Duo, the slot is physically smaller and thinner than the normal Memstick, so no... it won't work.

3.) Yes, TIPICme is a Java app for the P800...it's a unified messenger that can use Yahoo, MSN, and ICQ (I think it can handle more, but those are the only 3 I use on it) Works really well... chatting is realtime, and all your contacts are listed as well...oh, and I think it can handle AOL as well.

4.) No, it has 12MB built-in and a 16MB Memstick Duo...don't gripe...some PDAs don't even come with more than 16MB TOTAL!

5.)
-The P800
-4 Stylii (1 on the phone, and 3 extra)
-sync cradle (USB)
-Charger
-2 CDs (PC suite, Extra apps)
-Nylon pouch (no belt loop or clip)
-wrist strap (which hooks at the bottom of the phone, INSIDE the battery compartment...trust me, it's a weird but logical hook)
-16MB Memstick Duo
-Memstick Duo adapter (Turns the Duo into a regular Memstick)
-PROPRIETARY SonyEricsson stereo headset/handsfree earphones so you can listen to your music on the P800 in stereo w/o having to miss a call.
