Why u didn't tried the update trick ???
while the phone is turned off... press & hold the 'c' botton and connect the USB Cable to the phone, keep holding the 'c' botton for a while... I think you will have a chance to turn it on in the update mode...
any way, could we have some pics ??? and where that online guide you use for opening it ??

@laetitya - At least you managed to have your fone . . . work again. Next time better have it replaced/changed by authorized technicians in their Service Centers. Good luck with your W800i

Replacing or just removing the housing of the k750i/w800i shouldn't be very hard, just do it with all the possible care (as with every phone).
The most difficult phone i've managed to take apart, was the SE S700i.
It has a lot of parts and you have to be very careful not to lose any screws  |
