 | flateric> on which operator are you? I also live in Switzerland. I agree it rulez!
jnonhoff> Thanks for the melody, but I have not brought the cable to the US, thought it was no use. Does Cingular offer GPRS? I don't think so since my phone doesn't show the GPRS reception icon (even not the "empty" one). As for MMS does anyone know if they will be available before December? I really would like to be able to send them. To whom I still don't know...

To ALL> Thank you for the inputs. I think it is both then. Almost everyone here has Motorola, with Nextel, the one you can use al walkie-talkie as well as cellular phones. It looks cool, but I guess companies are not that happy about it.
And the quality is not that good.

 | Cingular has a terrible reputation here in SoCal too. Personally, I think that is a function of Los Angeles being such a large city that it's impossible to cover the entire city with cell towers. Plus, I think that Cingular is not licensed to use AT&T cell towers so you get a lot of "SOS Calls Only" in LA. Basically, cell service in LA sucks, but it's like that with any provider you get. Might as well have a cool phone with your crappy service |

 | I have AT&T, and I know that their coverage is bad as well, but like i said, the coverage over here in the US SUcks!! I used to have verizon with my first phone, and I thought it was the best coverage, but they charged you "hidden" fees. So, last week, I switched to AT&T, got the new T68i, (by the way, I think I'm like the only person throughout my county, and neighbor county that has the T68i, all cell phone stores sell the T68m only!) and guess what? At&T service isn't that bad either, and the plans looked great. I'm not saying that At&t is the best, but Cingular isn't, Verizon isn't, and Surewest Wireless only works in Metro Area, (by the way, that is by far the best, if your in a metro area, cheap rates , unlimited minutes for $35), but since I live in the middle of nowhere, (yeah, I know I"m country!) I have to settle for what I can get, and At&t is keeping me satisfied right Now! ~~~*~~~*~~DIDDY KONG~~~*~~~*~~

 | @ pinolo77 I'd say that the problem is the coverage by the providers. The USA is a whole continent and it is hard to cover everywhere like I've heard it is in Europe. I sold my T68 because the reception was weak, and I blame that more on the providers than the phone.
