This is a classic example of personal taste/choice and how everything is subjective. That is, in fact, one of my favorite features about the design... those two little square keys.
And -on a personal note- I don't really like having a telephone that everyone else has, and the W800 has gotten REALLY popular.
I got my K750 thru the internet and our local GSM operator won't be carrying it, (thanks God!  ) whereas there's a HUGE campaign launching the W800. And I have already seen several people with one.

i agree. it really comes down to taste. w800 may come with a 512 mb card but you can get one for cheap today and the headphones may be better but i think w800´s design draws to much attention, and the ´white´part of the phone gets yellowish with time as i have already seen in one. Personally, i believe w800 looks feminine and everybody will give it a second look and ask about it when you pull it out, kinda not what i´m looking for.
if u still really prefer w800´s software u can just flash your k750i
i think that se´s old users and fans usually stick with k750i, while new users, attracted to w800´s firy color and outdoors everywhere are really the ones that go for w800 |

Another thing i like about k750i is the combination of black keys and blue highlight. i know that the black t630 already had that, but its still cool. |

I'll say go for w800 they are about the same price but you get more memory and very good handsfree with w800i. |

I used to support the fact of personal preference until I saw the pricing for both phone in Malaysia
K750 at sonystyle is RM1899 ( ~USD500)
W800 at sonystyle is RM1999 (~USD526)
I don't think 512MB MSD-pro only cost USD26 more than 64MB MSD |

hehe... whats all this? the w800i is better but the keys on the k750i are better... the feel to them and all that. the w800i looks better and i dont think it looks like a ladys phone... it isnt pink and purple now is it?
you can fastforward and rewind songs on the w800i
overall... i give both of them 10/10 for looks, quality and software

I find the attitude here a bit weird. I buy the best phone for my needs. If that happens to be the same as everyone else's choice, then so be it. I'm not going to choose a less suitable phone just to be different.
To be fair, I like to have a different phone, but that's usually because I want something different - or did more research and actually got a better phone than most people. So having a different phone reminds how clever I am Having a different phone just to be different - and thus means missing out on features I want - would just remind me how stupid I am.  |

I agree with most of you - it's a matter of preference. Personally, i bought k750i blasted silver - this not only gives me a great phone, but also different looks compared to all of you who bought the black one

i have both and id choose w800i over the k750i any day, and id choose the k750i over my k700i i sold to my cuzin

@edridge - Maybe you are talkin' about prices in Greenhills type stores mate. We all know that prices of fones in Semicon are 4-5K higher than the ones seen in 'tiangge' type shops.
