@ jim
couldnt agree more. ive re read this thread 6 or 7 times to see where anyone could even acuse some one of been a racist and i cant see anything of the sort.
the only thing people were doing was pointing out that very few people would deal cash on delivery and that paypal was a more prefered method of payment to western union.
yes people may have been a little short but people who have been scammed do temd to be a little more defensive.
to go back to the original poster as suggested i would try ebay first and formost and see whats available on there. |

i´ve checked ebay and all i could find was branded phones. There are unbranded ones in the us´ ebay but i think they are overpriced.
if anyone refuses to sell me phone because one thinks i´m black, its just stupied! First because racism´s stupied, second because i´m not an afro-american.(not that makes any difference)

Btw I would suggest to buy from sites that sell's phones, maybe try those from the Benelux as you will have more luck to find unbranded one's .

I don't think anyone was being racist, they saw the words 'Western Union' and 'Bidpay' and alarm bells started ringing.
imho the OP should have been given more of a chance, he's been a member for over a year and got 58 posts at time of writing, not exactly the profile of a 'scammer'! I read his post and first impression was that it was a genuine request.
If in doubt, call off the baying mobs with burning torches and pitchforks and give the trader a chance!

what sort of price range are you working to as we maybe able to point you in the direction of some decent uk online retailers who sell the k750 sim free and also offer some sorts of guarentees with shipping etc |

Hey,
Get with the program,,, about £270>£300 is what a K750i unlocked will cost on e-bay, if you want branded and locked, and probably silver,,,
a lot less, f**k the racism crap, next guy accusses me of that gets the full bunch of fives, in the UK any of us trying to sell good, not stolen gear on e-bay, have been so inundated with overseas scammers, with frankly the same kind of letter/offer that you have produced, cut us some slack! No wonder we are cautious.
Sorry, to sound so hard,,, if you are a genuine peep!, but we get this every day,
1) To buy like this, the seller wants to know that the cash is cleared in his/her bank, before sending the phone.
2) The seller will want to talk, by e-mail for a while, just to get a feel for you.
3) The seller really dosnt care about your country, race colour or religion, but before posting £280.ish pounds worth of phone, its nice to know that you have been paid! |
