I phoned SE in the UK and they said it will have T9 upon final release. We shall see.

Might go down to CPW Oxford St again today or tomorrow and have another look at the P800, anyone got any questions about it that I might be able to investigate?

(The early version they have doesn't have T9 as far as I can tell).

They're both limited by network...
As far as I know, there are mandatory features to be in a GPRS phones, among which the coding schemes which set the speed over the air.

The fastest reaches a speed of 21.4 kilobits per second (CS4) for data, per timeslot.

The 115kilobits per second is then definitely bullsh*t!

I'm not an expert at this. Could you explain how that would be possible? If I have 1 timeslot, surely that must be slower than 2?
And the network limitates both of these, I believe the speed in one slot is 13,4 here in Sweden.
That means a download of max 53,6 and upload of max 13,4 for P800, and max dl 40,2 max ul 26,8 for 7650.

The 7560 do not handle MMS slideshow. This makes litle movieclips impossible on the phone. You have to open every pic one at a time.
Whitch handset playes movies perfectly?? The T68 of course!

Some theory first:

Coding Scheme: CS1 9.04Kb/sec. CS2 13.4/kb/sec. CS3 15.6kb/sec CS4 21.4kb/sec

These per slot speeds are theoretical. Real~: cs1:<=6.7 cs2:<=10 cs3<=12 cs4:=16.7

@ spacer:

P800 has a GPRS multislot class 8, not 12. 1 uplink only! Sorry

Besides, it is NOT possible to have more uplink timeslots than downlink timeslots...

Sorry, my mistake...correct info:

P800 4+1 (CS 1-4)
DL Max: 85.6 K
UL Max: 21.4 K

As far as I know... the 7650 is CS-2 only.

I never saw mention about limitation for
number of upslots less or equal to number of downslots.
From where u got this limitation can you proove it with some link (URL)?
But if its so everything makes sense now (if P800 is GPRS class 8
as i checked sony chip supposedly used in future mobiles and it stated gprs class 12 but in white paper of P800 from april it clearly supports just 1u/4u (GPRS class 8 by deduction).
