I have been using Opera Minin quite a bit recently as I have no internet at home at the moment. I am dreading my latest phone bill!!
Anyhow I have a question. Is there anyway to change the start page from that 2 MOBIL one to something else?
Thanks. |

@ctsamados:
I am afraid we cannot change the start page to another else, we have to stick with the 2 MOBIL page since it's embedded with the application.
I tried to hack the jar files but failed to modify the start page and the 2 MOBIL banner at the page header.
Hope this help.

I've been trying to d/l it, but the links don't work. Could you let me know where you d/l it? Which version does k700 use, low or high memory? Does it detect my gprs settings automatically? Thanks!

I'm not sure about Opera Mini, but with Opera 6.20 (Symbian, unfortunately) upwards you certainly can. I'll tell ya this much, it's a brilliant app, i've got it set up so that it activates automatically when i turn my phone on.

Try his, it worked for me:
Download this in the WAP browser: http://davidpye.com/wap/opera.jar, refuse to run it immediately
Then download this: http://davidpye.com/wap/opera.jad, overwrite the pre-existing installation, DO NOT run it immediately.
Once installed in the Applications dir quit the WAP browser and load the proggy.

Thanks guys! Haven't had a chance to try it out yet but will do asap. I presume it works for most phones? Or at least the k700 and e398? Thanks again guys!
