When the battery bar on the screen isnt moving anymore and the led on the phone got a constant green light the phone is loaded. It doesnt harm to let it be on the loader a time after, i leave it on over the night.

just checking some T66 produced between 02w14 and 02w20 have a production failure causing the batterytime to be low...

however... I don't think there is any wrong with your phone.. T66 has 80-150 hours in standby, depending on the enviroment, distance to the basestation etc...

Some of the T65 have problems with the standby time. This could be caused by different problems:
1. Your SIM-card might be old and old SIM-cards can really drain the battery. Make sure that you have a new SIM-card.
2. Some networks requires more air time with your phone that others.
3. The battery could be defected.
4. Your software doesn't always show the right battery time. It could be something wrong with the software.
5. Make sure that the backlight is set to automatic rather then always on. If backlight is on, the batterytime should be around 60 hours at most.
6. Make sure that GPRS isn't on.
7. Your phone may be defected. Hand it in to a SE SP

yes, the battery bar will not increase anymore while i think the battery is fully loaded. but the led on the phone is always constant green during charge, it doesn't matter the battery is being charged, or fully charged, why?

i think my phone comlies with 2 through 6.

for 1, i have a new subscription to o2, i am not sure what kind of sim card i have?

for 7, is it possible that i return my phone to a service point because the battery time is out of spec? mine is 130, the range of spec is 150~300.

My T65 displays 93 hours while there is only 1/3 battery in the indicator.

Can the screensaver increase battery time ? I use it.

If it show 93 hours when its 1/3 left in the battery bar its good.

If i close the screensaver i get around 50% less standby time.

I found my battery time increased dramatically when I turned the display sleep on (wish I noticed this b4 cos I've had the fone for 8 months).

I used it a lot today after charging last night and still have standby of 150h and talktime 3h46m.

I went on holiday recently 4 a week and mine was the only phone that didn't run out of juice (beat the cr*p out of the Nokias). Just wish the T9 was quicker...

There seems to be solution to low battery life problem.
At least I discovered it today. Like others here I charged my phone every 4-5 day and never got more than 150-170 standby time. But tonight I turned my phone off and left it charging. When I turned it on again it showed amazing 244 hours. So there is a little difference if you charge with phone on or off. Maybe this Ericsson "smart charging" (is it that in english? I only use estonian) is meant for quick charging and when you turn off phone it uses some other technology to fill battery. I don't know how long it took, because I was sleeping Maybe standby times will fall rapidly again to usual levels if I start to speak, I don't know, but so far everything looks OK.

yes i have the same whit my T68 if i charge it when the phone is on i get 200hrs standby and when its of i get about 260hrs. so i smart charging is like quick charge its faster but not as good.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA

Do you always load it over the night? When i load it over the night it doesnt matter if its on or off, it show the same time, 245 hours something... btw, when its like 10 hours left it go to 30 hours, always, it also happend on my old T29.
