I agree that this phone isn't for me, but maybe we shouldn't be so dismissive of everything Nokia, they're doing somethings right after all to take such a large share of the market. Although a E/SE fan through and through, I don't mind other brand phones, and certainly don't hate them with a passion

i dont hate nokia i just hate the way people carry on like nokia is the only decent phone.that was true when the 6110 knocked the socks off everything in it's time,but not anymore!they should wake up and smell technology!

The N80, doesn't look too good. Are the Specs like the N90 though.

Nokia's 3g phones are priced very reasonable and almost all the new phone released by them are 3g as compared
to SE whose 3g phones like z800 are nothing but overpriced
sh*t selling at price even more than p910. |

there are some pretty stupid comments in this post coming from alleg'd se fans..to large this, too thick this...put simply, the handset (n80) is nowhere near as thick as the s700i is, or infact the w900...the spec's of the handset are awesome...and it'll more than likely sell very well...to say the handset is shit just because you don't like the look of it is just pathetic.... |

Goto www.nokia.com select either US or Europe and select the N series the specs are all there.
3MP Camera with autofocus (just named something else)
330Mhz cpu! (Arm9 based)
40MB of operating ram, thats memory for all running apps
40MB of storage on the phone with up to 2GB of MiniSD hotswap external.
Same resolution as the N90; thats right folks, pure eye porn.
Symbian OS 9.1 (all the same security thats inherent as teh P990i
802.11g WiFi with UPnP support (stream your video/music/photo slideshow over WiFi!
ALREADY has FCC Approval for BOTH the 3G 2100Mhz for Europe & 1900Mhz for North/South America. Many people dont like EDGE especially the "stuck" European Aristocats ... that is until they come south side and their phones - even if the network existed 3 yrs ago - wouldn't have supported it. (not all Europeans are stuck up, just the ones that argued that EDGE is Useless and didnt see its purpose in a laggin technological environment).
