in flight mode or 'music only' pause a song while playing then lock the keypad. open the lens cover and you now have the cam functions in flight mode. don't know if this works with the W800i but it works well with my k750i flashed to w800i - R1K firmware...

when browsing opera mini and you want to back to other menus without exiting opera, hold down the back key the one below the menu key it gives the option to minimize opera.

@celltech: All the latest SE's since the K750 have the ability to minimize applications.

how do i do that on the w800? whenever i hold down the back key it just reverts to standy mode. (i'm so used to the nokia series 60 function of getting to run multiple applications at once)

i still have the camera sounds problem!=(

I know on the K600/750 you minimize applications by pressing the activity button and choosing the minimize option.

I called Sony Ericsson (US) and apparently US versions of the phone don't have the option of turning camera sounds off because of certain laws. Whatever. Friggin' loud camera sounds. Also on the w800 there's so option to minimize applications other than the radio and mp3 player.

Is there any way for me to rollback the driver/firmware to an older version or to just replace it with an international one? =(I'm so frustrated.

I think you will find....all you need to do whilst in music mode is to lock the keys and open the lens cover to enter the camera mode....does not matter if the music is playing or not
