Which shall I buy - K750 or K600? |

I have them both and all I can say is this. The 600 is far better when it comes to build quility. The 750 is so plastic it feels like a toy!
I prefer the 750 by the look and features, but I couldn't stand the creacking noice. |

YEO, i was at the SE service center yesterday where i had a chance to play with the just released K600, a phone which also interests me. first impressions are if you have been using the K700, the joystick on the K600 would seem a bit small and harsh to touch (it's made of metal i think). the menu also seems laggy, firmware was R1G. screen might have the same specs as K700, but on the K600 fascia the screen looks somehow inferior. price? rm1999 east malaysia.
back to the topic, i do think it would be wise to get a K750, which is more relevent to the malaysian market at this current moment. 3G is just not so widespread and available at the moment.

Thanks all. Enlightening thread. Getting K608 - build seems better than K750 or V800 as it seems different (if I can unlock it).
(although one step ahead than the k600 series, the problems of K750 mentioned are horrifing too many, although I do not now the ratio of their occurece - 10 in 100 phones +/-).
Phone problems means lost time for your money. Actually you pay to have a faulty device...that is not me.

Thanks for the advice. You see, I don't change my phone often. I'm still using my T610 now. The other factor for me to consider is that since I don't change phone often (after when I decide either one of them,I'll not be changing the phone in the next 2 or 3 years), otherwise I won't be using my T610 now. With that in mind, I was thinking of getting the K600 right the way (I've also seen the phone bot not K750) instead of having to change one more time, though like you say, I wouldn't use the 3G yet b'cos of its charges, but at least, I'm equipped with a 3G phone which prepare for use in the near future when the charges start dropping. Very tough. I haven't buy the phone yet. |

I have the same problem as my K700i joystick is not working anymore, I have to change phone.
I really like the look of the K600, I will not use the 3G stuff but I would like to check if it has the same applications that I had with my K700
The usb cable directly connected to the pc looks also very nice if the speed of transfer is good

I have the K608i and it's a cool phone.
I am not interested on music on my phone, have an iPod for that, so 32mb memory is plenty.
Shame the battery life is not better in 3G networks, which is what I am within range of most of the day.

YEOPK,
maxis recently offered me the z800 at rm2200, with rm400 rebates off my bill for the next 4 months or so. you can check with them, i think it's a better value anyway. |
