I believe it works in the UK... the only issue seens to be sourcing the program...
I am sure Opera will launch it elsewhere....

Even on the moon, if you have a powerful enough repeater |

I got it working on my s710 and I'm in holland. Doesn't matter where you are, if you have gprs you can use it.
Whether it works just depends how you install the app on your phone. The guys @ howardforums have a really informative thread about it, thanks to them i can now finally enter my hotmail accounts directly from my mobile! That wasn't even possible with opera on my p800.
It's THE must have app on non-symbian phones, trust me.
Looks stunning! |

Yes, it works VERY WELL. I'm stunned.
However does anyone know if it's possible to get https pages (secure) via opera mini? |

yeah, I can view the secure sites, but when it comes to logging in to a secure area, unless the authentication is from a secure client, the authentication is rejected
I'm not that worried. I still have phone banking.
But it certainly works for everything else that the inbuilt xHTML client can't display well.

Opera download is free for SE P-series phone but not for Z1010. I wish Operasoft liberates Opera mini for the other phones as soon as possible.

You need to load the .jad file and the .jar file and then it should start the application as normal.
I did this via blue tooth and it worked fine.

OK worked it out for the S700 now with help from HowardForums:
Load the JAR over wap - don't start the thing
Load the JAD over wap - it asks if you want to overight, say yes (it will look like you're downloading the JAR again).
It will say ovewrite failed. Ignore that (which I kept not doing!) and exit the browser.
Go into Apps and there you go it works.
Of course you may need to change the language but I can't remember how! |

You can change your language in Opera mini this way :left soft key, joystick down 3 times, joystick right, joystick down and press it(select). In the bottom of the page is a language square that sais 'norsk'. press the joystick and you can choose english.
Hope this helps. |

I like the fact that Opera Mini displays how many kb it's downloading... And it's a sight faster than my phone browser too.
