@HOBBS: Heard funny things about that Virgin offer. I'd advise anyone thinking of taking up the offer to browse the "Terms & Conditions"...apparently like those "unlimited broadband" offers from Comcast in the US, Virgin Mobile reserves the right to start charging you for text messages when you exceed a certain threshold. BTW, U700 is all bling, not much substance.

Woohoo, it's raining here too, bucketloads of it, cooling things down very nicely. We had some rain this morning, then the sun came out just before lunchtime and the temp and humidity climbed until it topped 30deg inside, with 100% saturation.

TOTALY agree with Brix. My Mum got a U700 as an upgrade 2weeks ago on her spare Weekend Everyday contract and the only good thing is the Looks, camera and HSDPA otherwise it realy aint all that good, the navi-wheel aint touch sensetive its an actual moving wheel thats very lose and cheaply built, the keys on the slider are touchsensetive and a pain to use, my Mum HATES it,shes gone back to the W880 ,6280 and N80 combo lol.

"I personally believe that US Americans are unable to do so because some people out there in our nation don't have maps and I believe that our education like such as in South Africa and Iraq and everywhere like such as and I believe that they should our education over here in the US should help the US or should help South Africa and should help Iraq and the Asian countries so we will be able to build up our future for us."

That's one of the quotes which vied for Quote Of 2007, and had me crying with laughter! Check out the rest at http://www.news24.com/News24/World/News/0,,2-10-1462_2241235,00.html

@ Kryptik,
That link's currently playing up, boet. I had to highlight the whole link and paste into into a new browser window, as part is not highlighted, but the whole news24 site seems to be down at the mo...
I remember that quote though; they showed the young Yank lass completely horlicksing her limited grasp of all things 'foreign', as is all too evident in that remarkable retort...

@ Jojo,
We passed the 1000th post mark nearly 14000 posts ago, mate...
It was made by Rhino8 back in 2005:

I know you meant the 1000th page posting, though.

Right, it's gone 3am here. Time to get some sleep again. G'night, ya'll.
