@pop - Sometimes I am really wondering how you can easily make those POP-up-replies here in the forum I mean your avatar does NOT show that you are ONLINE I guess most of your stay here . . . (accessing it via PC), yup, I know that you REPLY using your mobile phone . . . but I guess that's very tiring to do compared to usin' the old-plain-desktop [addsig]

@ Jojo,
Yup, mainly PC-posting for me, but if I'm not replying for a while, I sign out, as I might have school work etc minimised and if I stay online the whole time when I'm in front of a PC, people may get the impression that I'm able to chat etc all the time, which isn't the case.
It's a fine juggling act getting done what I need to do, work-wise, while having a few breaks in-between on esato etc.
I only post from the phones when I'm not at home, sometimes from the P1i using Opera Mini 4.1 or from the ol' P900, which has a spare sim in it.

@ Jojo,
We went to a famous bikers' cafe in north-west London this evening, called the Ace Cafe. Took this pic with the P1i of the waiters' tip box along the bar/counter...a converted motorcycle petrol tank:

@dad - Ohhh, OK. Now I just get it matey. You don't open Esato in your PC as much as possible or any other websites in that manner, coz if your co-employees sees you, you might just get an INSTANT promotion Am I right

that's a nice TIP-box mate I wonder how many months will pass by in order for that thingy to be FILLED-up Looks like one of those things that you SEE hanged in the Boxing Gym

@ Jojo,
Yeah, the tip box'll get as far as half-full, then they'd have to empty it.
If you look where the fuel filler cap normally goes, you'll see the slot for the coins. As soon as it's up to that mark (which will certainly take a while anyway ), they'd have to empty it or one wouldn't be able to put any more coins in it as it would be above the slot level.
Still a nice way to keep the biker theme going in the cafe, though.

@dad - Yup, loks like the Cafe owner won't really FILL that TIP-box to the FULL, coz looking at those TWO chains that HOLDS it from the ceiling . . . it might just GIVE-in when the BOX is filled to the brink right

Are you in school now You are already in your Christmas vacation - right [addsig]

@ Jojo,
Nope, we're on holiday now until 7 January, but I'm trying to finish off as much admin etc before tomorrow, so that I can really just focus on chilling out until about 2 January. Then I'll be working away a bit each day so that I don't fl behind al the stuff that I have to prepare for school when we go back on the 7th. I have numerous areas of responsibility within the school, and each comes with its fair amount of demands and paperwork etc.

Oh, the tank's suspended from one of the big main metal beams running along the width of the ceiling, so I guess the tank, even if full, will be OK.

Anything planned for Christmas Day?

By this time next month my sister and her family will be settling down in London, for the next two years or so... Swaer attended a meeting at De Beers in London last week, the upshot of said meeting being that he's been offered the job of heading up their finance dept. Career-wise it's the next logical step for him, so they're packing their bags for Highgate just after New Year. Anybody want some discounted diamonds?

I trust that everybody's now in relax mode? It's raining lekker here, quite a pleasant change from the sweltering temperatures which we've been experiencing.

Like JC08 said, you are lucky, JHB is SOO HOT, especialy the in the evening.

Been putting the N81 through some heavy use and multitasking. I was trying to upload the pics that i had taken of it,bluetoothd them from the N80 to N81 and as i was uploading, the 4th pic which was 1.3mb it made the Safari Browser crash,it still had 38mb of ram so obviously its a bug, so il upload from my PC later.
