TonyG - Wondering whether your contact at SE can help me. I have this R310s (the shock and water resistant shark fin phone). The phone used to have support for Asian languages e.g. chinese, thai when I got it. However, there was once I sent it in for software upgrade and after upgrade the Asian languages were gone and replaced with European languages. I went back to the Kallang Pudding Service Centre and asked them to flash it back to Asian language support. However, the staff there told me the technician tried but could not. The reason they gave me "the phone is an european phone". I told them that my packaging has this "Supports Asian languages" sticker and the phone before upgrade had Asian languages. They couldn't give me a reason and just told me they couldn't choose the Asian language pack for flashing.
Hate to impose on you but it seems that the service centre guys can't help. BTW, my warranty is ending soon 5 Aug 2002. Hope you can help me in this. I will check the forum again tomorrow.

yeah i know abt that also orang3 but should they make it on other button as the "no" button is easy to press let's say u put ur phone in ur pocket

can't stop laughing). Okay, I will do 2 things early in the morning. First, I will direct your mail to SE Singapore and see what is their explanation to your problem. Second, I will talk to the SC Tech Mgr and also seek his opinion. My personal view is, if it is due to their fault by erasing your Asian language, and they are not able to retrive it back, they should replace you back one. BTW, Can you give me the SC work sheet no.? The one when you send in the phone for upgrading and the one you have signed and bring back.

dairin-> Yes SE was awared of that. As orang3 said is true, it is from the phone nothing can be done. But as far as I know, you need to press for a while than it will go off. I think by putting in your pocket it will not be easily switch off unless something pressing onto the "no" button constantly.

pushing "No" button constantly can be caused when u squating down and u're not aware that u actually pushing the "no" button eventhough it;s not always happen
anyway just asking for opinion from u guys
hey MMS going start soon, anyone using M1 here cos i do and will go for upgrade soon

hi, anyone tried using the CONDOM cover on t68? is there a version specially for the t68?
anyway i got one for my 8310, and modified it...
i cut away the screen, cut a hole for the volume control, cut a small hole arnd the buzzer speaker, and osso for the speaker...
oh and also cut a small hole abt 5 cent coin size for the joystick..
and IT FITS PERFECTLY!!! fantastic!!!
its a lot easier to sms with the condom cover on top...
anyway, because some of my cutting was not neat, i tried to do the same on another condom cover i had....
well it worked very well, very neat, until i accidentally pull the cover on too hard and it tore!! argh!!
i think its coz its a brand new cover, not as stretchy as my older one which i tried first..
but its nice!!!
u guys could try it too..

My personal opinion, in terms of overseas coverage, SingTel is better, local? I think they are the same. ST & M1.
