I have an important(ish) question for those of who have got your phone (grrr, bring on Monday!) - when you're looking at photos you've taken in full screen/horizontal mode, what's the scrolling speed like?
On my K750i, there's at least a wait of 1 sec between pictures, have they improved this? |

^ Sweet
Yeah the K750 is very quick, ecspecially with the latest firmware, but slows a bit when scrolling pictures...

When scrolling my pics, there's no delay at all. The K750 has a delay every time. Don't know if that has anything to do with the amount of pics saved.

That's good to hear, it was one of the only things I'm not keen on with my K750i. When you've got the card full up it is slower, but the speed scrolling between photos gets annoying.

...and now I re-ordered one aswell, not too happy with the N80 I had for 3 weeks. It's a good phone, but the build quality is not that good, I really don't need Symbian and WIFI even though the latter is quite amusing. If you do not need Symbian, it's rather crappy, slow and feels like it's gonna crash any second (although it wont).
Hopefully Katshing delivers at the 7th of July as predicted, meanwhile I'm selling my N80 hehe. Another period of waiting...

Looking to get the K800i but have a couple of questions for those who already have the handset:-
Speakers - Does the the phone have 1 speaker or a pair of speakers (i.e. stereo) - Also how loud are the speakers when playing a mp3 - better than the nokia 6230?
Internet Browser - How good is the browser with the screen size etc... Is browsing the net ok on this phone or is the screen just too small. Anyone tried using opera mini etc..
Thanks in advance |

@sonyericsson man, perhaps you cant send the pics because of the rez of the image? because i sent a photo to a friends d600 they received it but could not open it, and my mda couldnt even receive it, so that may be the problem
just noticed this, the new charger seems to have an adaptop on it so you can still use the handsfree while you charge, pretty cool...

Well, I just had a play with this baby in a Phones4U store. Unfortunetly it was the only one in the store and was on Vodafone so didn't interest me but OMG!!!! What a stunning phone, it feels SOOOO solid, MUCH better then the K750I, it's dead sexy a bit larger but not too much, just enough. THe camera is just awesome. It is much quicker with it's autofocus and the zoom is useable to about 5 times, after that it gets a bit distorted. The best pic is great, you have a filmstrip along the bottom of the screen and just move the joystick to put that picture on the main display, then just choose that picture to keep if you want it, my hands are'nt the most stable either and the picture was purfect and straight.
I had 2 sales people plus the sales girl trying to sell me it drooling over it as it's the first one they've seen, all commented on how good the camera was. I've booked an appointment to go back tomorrow when they'll have em on O2 and Three to see what deals I can get. Great phone and it just feels and performs in a different world and league to the K750I and that's saying something. |

Isnt it strange how now that a few people are getting this phone it is being praised for having a great flash, super build quality and really good pictures!
But when the confusion and rumours were going round a couple weeks ago everyone was saying these pics are horrible and the flash is just a gimmick, i hate SE etc etc..
Funny how people react when they can get what they want and how they react when they cant have it.
